Patented FLUX GMI technology combines the ๐๐๐๐ ๐ฅ๐ง๐๐๐๐จ๐๐ค๐ฃ performance of an optical encoder with the ๐ง๐ค๐๐ช๐จ๐ฉ๐ฃ๐๐จ๐จ of an inductive encoder and the large ๐ข๐ค๐ช๐ฃ๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฉ๐ค๐ก๐๐ง๐๐ฃ๐๐ and ๐ฌ๐ค๐ง๐ ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ง๐๐ฃ๐๐ of a magnetic encoder.

The Giant Magento Impedance (GMI) effect is a phenomenon, based on the skin effect, in which certain materials exhibit a drastic change in impedance when exposed to external magnetic fields. Thus, a signal can be generated in response to the position of the sensor with respect to the scale.
